‘Meesterwerk’ Avatar 2 wordt bedolven onder de positieve recensies

Top Gun: Maverick leek de grootste film van 2022 te worden, maar op de valreep moet het waarschijnlijk alsnog die titel inleveren. De eerste reacties op Avatar: The Way of Water zijn namelijk binnen en men is laaiend enthousiast.

Het heeft dertien jaar geduurd voordat er een vervolg kwam op de eerste Avatar-film, maar dit lange wachten is niet voor niets geweest. Althans, dat is de mening van meerdere geluksvogels die de film al gezien hebben. Deze zijn bijna allemaal zeer positief over dit ‘meesterwerk’, zo meldt Variety.

Positieve eerste reacties op Avatar 2  

Hieronder zie je een aantal voorbeelden van alle positieve woorden over Avatar 2. Deze variëren van ‘overtreft het origineel op elk niveau’ tot een ‘visueel meesterwerk’ en een ‘nooit eindigend visueel spektakel’.

#AvatarTheWayOfWater pushes CGI to new places and uses the word “family” more than any F&F movie. While some of the new characters are underutilized, Pandora is miraculously realised, the underwater stuff glorious, and the final third is full of incredible action – see in IMAX!
